Raheem Sterling is fighting to revive his Premier League career, with Fulham and Crystal Palace emerging as his most realistic pathways back into top-flight football.

At 31, the England international finds himself on the periphery, and the January transfer window represents a crucial chance to reignite his season.

Sterling has not featured at all this campaign and is not in Enzo Maresca’s plans at Chelsea. In fact, he does not even have a profile page on the club’s website and has spent much of the season training alone while focusing on personal projects.

Despite the difficult situation, Sterling is unwilling to leave Chelsea at any cost. Earning around £300,000 per week, he is keen to maintain stability for his young family, meaning any potential move must make sense both professionally and personally.

A transfer to another London club has long been his preference, allowing him to stay close to home. Moving abroad would only be considered if the contract offered justifies such a significant change.

Sterling’s £50 million move to Chelsea has not gone as planned. With 18 months remaining on his contract, he remains determined to prove he can still perform at the highest level.

Fulham and Crystal Palace are being briefed on Sterling’s terms, as both clubs look to strengthen their wide attacking options in January. While both teams are primarily targeting younger players for these roles, Sterling will hope for a breakthrough that offers him another shot in the Premier League.
