Malta Placed in Group A for 2028 FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifiers

The journey to the 2028 FIFA Futsal World Cup has officially begun. Following the draw held at the UEFA Headquarters in Nyon on Friday, the groups for the UEFA European Qualifiers Preliminary Round have been determined.
Malta have been drawn into Group A, where they will face a challenging lineup that includes hosts Denmark, Andorra, and Scotland.
The Preliminary Round phase is scheduled to take place between April 6 and 15, 2026. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Main Round, keeping their World Cup aspirations alive.
