Fulham celebrated Marco Silva’s 200th match at the helm with a gritty 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur, deepening Spurs’ woes as their winless run at home in the Premier League stretched to six games (D2, L4).

Still reeling from a bruising 4-1 derby defeat to Arsenal the previous weekend, Tottenham endured a disastrous opening once again. Fulham struck twice inside the first six minutes: Kenny Tete’s effort took a wicked deflection to beat Guglielmo Vicario, and moments later Harry Wilson capitalised on the goalkeeper’s poor positioning with a stunning long-range, left-footed strike from a tight angle.

The early shock nearly got worse for the hosts when Samuel Chukwueze smashed a fierce shot off the post, exposing the defensive disarray under Thomas Frank. Pedro Porro narrowly avoided compounding Spurs’ misery, with Micky van de Ven rescuing him after a lapse allowed Fulham in on goal.

It was a chastening first-half display from Tottenham, while Silva would have been thrilled with the confidence and intensity his side showed heading into the interval.

Spurs emerged after the break with renewed urgency, almost pulling one back when Randal Kolo Muani glanced a header into the side netting from Porro’s dangerous cross. That warning sign soon became reality as Mohammed Kudus powered home a left-footed strike at Bernd Leno’s near post to halve the deficit.

With momentum firmly swinging in their favour, Spurs began to apply real pressure. Lucas Bergvall was denied an equaliser only by a brilliant goal-line clearance from Raúl Jiménez following Kudus’ corner, keeping Fulham’s narrow lead intact.

Tottenham pushed relentlessly in the closing stages, with Wilson Odobert and Kolo Muani both failing to convert promising openings. But Fulham’s resolute defensive stand ultimately held firm, securing their first away league victory of the season and extending their unbeaten run against Spurs to four matches (W3, D1).

For Tottenham, the defeat capped a miserable November and marked a third straight loss in all competitions, leaving Frank with plenty to reflect on as the pressure intensifies.
