Malta Blackball Federation welcomed by Prime Minister Dr Robert Abela
Officials from the Malta Blackball Federation, together with the gold-medal winners from the recent European Blackball Championships, paid a courtesy visit to Malta’s Prime Minister, Dr Robert Abela, at Auberge de Castille in Valletta.
The visit followed the positive results achieved by the Maltese national teams in the latest European Championships held in Ennis, Ireland. The Maltese contingent was led by Malta Blackball Federation president Philip Gatt, accompanied by several other members of the Executive Committee.
During the meeting, Dr Abela congratulated the Maltese players and engaged in an interesting discussion with them about the cuesport discipline, Blackball.
The Minister for Education and Sport, Dr Clifton Grima, was also present.
