Exiles Wellbees and Sliema Frank Salt cruise to big victories in Enemed Cup

Exiles Wellbees produced a dominant display to overcome Tax-Xbiex Amigos with a convincing 19–5 victory in their latest Enemed Cup outing.
Kurt Griscti was the standout performer with five goals, while Matteo Martelacci followed with three. Gianni Schembri, Michael Naudi, and Timmy Agius each scored twice, with additional contributions from David Pacelupi, Mark Fenech, Kyle Navvarro, Nathan Bonavia, Max Paris Rhoding, and Thais Muscat.
Tax-Xbiex Amigos battled throughout the match and managed to score through Julian Farrugia (2), Raoul Greco, Jack Zammit, and Caiden Busuttil. However, they struggled to match the tempo and clinical finishing of Exiles Wellbees.
Discipline remained largely controlled on both sides, with limited exclusions recorded.
Sliema Frank Salt 27–7 Valletta Peak Insurance
Sliema Frank Salt delivered a commanding performance, defeating Valletta Peak Insurance 27–7 in a high-intensity and high-scoring encounter.
Sliema’s offense was in exceptional form. Jayden Cassar and Giancarlo Gatt led with four goals each, while Matthew Soler, Philip Tabone, Benji Cachia, and Daniel Rizzo all struck three. Supporting goals came from Elijah Schembri, Julian Chircop, Dino Zammit, and Sam Engerer, reflecting Sliema’s depth across the squad.
For Valletta Peak Insurance, Ken Erdogan was the standout, netting five goals in a strong individual performance. Kyle Cremona and Kieyan Borg each added one goal to complete Valletta’s tally.
Sliema dictated the rhythm from the first whistle to the last, combining clinical finishing with strong defensive organisation. Valletta struggled to contain the waves of attacks despite moments of resilience and several exclusion situations that tested their defensive structure.
