Għaxaq Wolves continued their perfect start to the season with a 2–0 victory over Balluta Barracudas, making it two wins from two matches in the MAFA First Division.

After a goalless first half, Diego Fernando Ovallos Galvis broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute, before Stanimir Miloskovic doubled the lead just 11 minutes later to seal the win. This result puts the reigning champions alone at the top of the standings with six points, while Balluta Barracudas remain without a point after two defeats. The match was officiated by Lorry Sammut.

In another entertaining clash, Valletta Stars St Dominic and Marsa St Michael’s played out a 2–2 draw in a match full of twists. Marsa raced to a 2–0 lead through goals from Adrian Denis Dluha and Joao Marcelo Junior Coutinho, but Valletta Stars responded in the second half with strikes from Federico Marine Tejada and Abba Auwal to secure a point. Peter Abela refereed the match.


Second Division Round-Up

In the MAFA Second Division, Swieqi United, Gudja Wanderers, and Attard Edex Kings all maintained their perfect starts, registering their second consecutive victories to share top spot in the table.

Swieqi earned an emphatic 5–1 win over Mqabba Albions. They led 4–0 by halftime thanks to goals from Luis Rocha, Joao Victor Aiezza, Andrade De Silva Cava, and an own goal by Godwin Tabone. In the second half, Mohamed Tahet added a fifth before Elyas Godwin grabbed a late consolation for Mqabba. Alper Can was the referee.

Attard Edex Kings overcame Ta’ Ġiorni Wanderers in a thrilling 5–3 encounter. Brazilian forward Lucas Carvalho de Almeida was in sensational form, scoring four goals, while Fayis Valiyaparambath added another. Luke Taliana, Timothy Vella, and Jacob Cassar Ellis were on target for Ta’ Ġiorni. The match was officiated by Gjergi Bitri.

Meanwhile, Gudja Wanderers edged St Paul’s Bay NMFC 2–1. David Gregory Salinas Cassiani put Gudja ahead, Rai Dolman levelled for St Paul’s Bay, but Brandon Nieto Sanchez Stevenson struck the decisive goal for Gudja. Onur Arslan took charge of the game.
