Athletics Malta has announced the launch of the inaugural Tallinja Malta Youth International Athletics Festival. The landmark event will take place on July 4, 2026, at the Matthew Micallef St. John Stadium in Marsa.

Coordinated by the Athletics Malta Youth Technical Committee, the festival aims to provide a high-level competitive platform for young athletes. The primary goal is to establish an international-standard event locally, mirroring prestigious competitions held abroad to help young athletes gain invaluable experience and advance in the sport.
