Eberechi Eze the north London derby hero again as Arsenal F.C. get back on track against Tottenham Hotspur F.C.

Arsenal F.C. claimed a crucial 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur F.C., strengthening their lead in the Premier League title race and extending their winning streak in the North London Derby to five matches.
At the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the early boos from the home crowd were aimed squarely at the visitors, setting the tone for a fiery encounter under Spurs manager Igor Tudor.
Arsenal dominated possession but were initially denied by Radu Drăgușin, who blocked a header from Viktor Gyökeres and a long-range effort from Leandro Trossard. Gyökeres then narrowly missed with another attempt before play was briefly halted due to a communication fault for the officials.
Once the match resumed, Arsenal continued to press. William Saliba headed wide from a well-worked corner, and Trossard failed to capitalize on a loose Xavi Simons pass, with his shot sailing harmlessly off target.
The breakthrough came just after the half-hour mark. Bukayo Saka displayed determination to beat Sarr and pick out Eberechi Eze, who touched the ball over the line to give Arsenal the lead. Spurs responded almost immediately after the restart, as Randal Kolo Muani dispossessed Declan Rice and slotted past David Raya to level the score. Trossard then fired agonizingly wide before the break, leaving the teams tied at halftime.
The second half began after another short delay, but Arsenal quickly asserted control. Gyökeres scored emphatically within 90 seconds of the restart, while Kolo Muani had a potential strike ruled out for a push on Gabriel Magalhães.
Saka linked up again with Eze, who initially saw a shot saved by Vicario, but soon found the net once more, taking his tally to five goals in just two North London Derbies.
Arsenal continued to threaten late on, with Raya producing a superb save to deny a Richarlison flick, ensuring the team avoided late jitters. The final flourish came when Gyökeres held off Archie Gray before finishing to round out the 4-1 victory.
The result gave Arsenal just their third win in eight Premier League matches, restoring a five-point advantage over Manchester City F.C., albeit having played an extra game. Spurs suffered a third consecutive defeat, leaving them only four points above the relegation zone after failing to capitalize on Nottingham Forest’s late loss to Liverpool.
