Sebastian Korda clinches Delray Beach Open crown after defeating fifth seed Tommy Paul

American world number 50 Sebastian Korda captured his third ATP Tour title on Sunday with a commanding 6-4, 6-3 victory over fifth seed Tommy Paul at the Delray Beach Open.
The 25-year-old was in control throughout the final, striking 19 winners and winning an impressive 83% of points behind his first serve. His aggressive baseline play and composure on key points ensured there was little opportunity for Paul to mount a comeback.
Korda’s path to the title was equally impressive. He defeated second seed Casper Ruud en route to the final and overcame three top-25 opponents across the week, dropping just one set in five matches.
The triumph marks Korda’s first title of 2026, providing a major boost after a difficult start to the campaign that saw him exit in the first round of the Australian Open.
It caps a standout week for the American, who will now shift his focus to the tournament in Acapulco as he builds momentum ahead of Indian Wells Masters, the first Masters 1000 event of the spring.
