Novak Djokovic has pulled out of next week’s Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha due to fatigue, tournament organisers confirmed on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old had been set to make his first appearance since the Australian Open but has opted to rest ahead of the upcoming North American hard-court swing.

Djokovic reached his 11th Australian Open final last month, ultimately falling in four sets to world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz.

Alcaraz, along with Jannik Sinner, will headline the ATP 500 event in Doha, which gets underway on Monday, as the tournament’s top two seeds.
