Mgarr United FC and Head Coach Shaun Bajada have mutually agreed to part ways.

Shaun joined the club during the summer and, throughout his time at Mgarr United, worked tirelessly with the squad, making valuable contributions both on and off the pitch. The club would like to thank Shaun for his commitment, professionalism and dedication during his spell at Mgarr United, and wishes him every success in the next chapter of his coaching career.

Following Shaun’s departure, Kurt Baldacchino will step up as First Team Head Coach until the end of the season, while continuing in his role as Under-21s Head Coach. He will be assisted by Duncan Micallef, who has been appointed Senior Assistant Coach until the end of the season.

The club remains fully focused on its objectives for the remainder of the campaign and is confident that this transition provides the team with the best opportunity to move forward together.

Meanwhile, at the weekend Mgarr United produced an excellent performance, defeating Swieqi 5–1 to keep their hopes of securing a top-eight finish in the first phase alive. Mgarr now turn their attention to their upcoming fixture against Mtarfa.
