On Saturday 28th February 2026, the Enemed Super Cup Finals were held at the National Sports School in front of a strong and passionate crowd that generated an electric atmosphere for both showpiece matches.

The occasion also marked a significant milestone for Maltese futsal, as Futsal Video Support (FVS) was officially introduced in the Super Cup competition for the first time.

Women’s Final

Swieqi United Futsal LECO7 vs Zero Sei Futsal

Zero Sei Futsal etched their name into history with a dominant 6–0 victory over Swieqi United Futsal LECO7, lifting the Super Cup for the first time.

From the opening whistle, Zero Sei imposed their authority and displayed clinical finishing throughout the encounter. Amanda Cristina Luiz and Vanessa Honoria Carneiro both struck twice, while Laura Andrea Echeverri Tobon and Rocio Robles also found the net to complete an emphatic performance.

The introduction of FVS in the women’s competition added further significance to the occasion. Although the system was available throughout the match, it was not required, as the final was played without major contentious incidents.

Men’s Final

Luxol St Andrews Futsal Club vs University of Malta Futsal

The men’s final delivered another thrilling chapter in the rivalry between Luxol St Andrews Futsal Club and University of Malta Futsal, with Luxol emerging 7–3 winners in a high-intensity contest.

Luxol established control early, racing into a commanding 4–0 lead by half-time. Despite a determined second-half response from University of Malta Futsal, Luxol maintained their composure and attacking threat to secure the trophy.

The goals for Luxol came courtesy of Da Silva Galewski Maicon, Marmara Ryan, Negreiros Rosas Murad Luiz Henrique, Da Silva Santos Everton (2), Borg Michael and Nathan Cope. University of Malta Futsal replied through Fernandez Cristian Jose, who netted twice, and Da Silva Rodrigues Rodrigo Jose.

The match also provided the first practical use of FVS in the competition. University of Malta Futsal requested a review of Luxol’s opening goal, but the referee upheld the original decision. Later in the game, Luxol called for a review following a University of Malta Futsal goal; after consulting the video footage, the referee overturned the decision and disallowed the strike.

The successful implementation of FVS capped off a memorable Super Cup finals day, combining high-quality futsal with a historic step forward for the sport locally.
