Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to explore a permanent move for Randal Kolo Muani if the French forward proves a success during his loan spell in North London.

The 26-year-old made his full debut in Spurs’ 3–0 win over Everton at the weekend, instantly energising the attack with his pace and movement.

Kolo Muani joined Tottenham on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain and, after overcoming an early injury setback, is now settling well into the squad. His arrival offers head coach Thomas Frank a fresh attacking option, reducing the team’s reliance on Richarlison — whose own future at the club will be assessed in the new year. Meanwhile, Dominic Solanke is nearing a return from injury, further strengthening the forward line.

Although there is no purchase option in Kolo Muani’s current deal, Tottenham are expected to revisit the possibility of a permanent transfer if he continues to impress throughout the campaign. Club sources suggest Spurs were thrilled to secure his signing late in the transfer window and believe they could persuade him to stay long-term should the loan prove successful.

Tottenham, who currently sit third in the Premier League, are also planning to strengthen further in January. The club’s recruitment team has been finalising a shortlist of transfer targets over the past week as Frank looks to build on a strong start to the season.

In addition to their attacking plans, Spurs are said to be considering reinforcements in goal and defence. The club’s ambitions are underlined by a new £100 million investment expected to arrive ahead of the new year.

Following their weekend victory, Tottenham face a crucial week — a Carabao Cup clash with Newcastle United midweek, followed by a high-profile London derby against Chelsea at home.
