Ta’ Xbiex climb to joint-third following victory over Rabat Ajax
Ta’ Xbiex moved into joint-third place in the BOV Amateur League II after securing a hard-fought 2–1 victory against Rabat Ajax at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Friday, 13th February 2026. The win follows their recent goalless draw against league leaders Kalkara United.
Match Highlights
The “Magpies” of Rabat Ajax took an early lead when Victor Ifeanyi Mbata found the net just four minutes into the match. However, Ta’ Xbiex mounted a successful comeback; Nathan Belhadj equalised in the 38th minute, and Antoine Attard secured the winner with a strike in the 65th minute.
