Sliema ASC legend Louise Cachia retires as water polo player

After years of dedication, leadership, and excellence in the pool, Louise Cachia has announced her retirement from her playing career — marking the end of an unforgettable era for Sliema ASC Women’s Water Polo.
Louise has been a true pillar of the team, embodying the values of passion, commitment, and sportsmanship. As captain, she led by example, inspiring those around her with her determination and unwavering positivity. Her leadership extended far beyond match days, shaping the team culture and motivating younger players to give their all.
