Mohamed Salah has hinted at a possible exit from Liverpool, claiming he has “no relationship” with manager Arne Slot and expressing frustration over his recent lack of playing time.

The 33-year-old, who has been an unused substitute in two of Liverpool’s last three Premier League games, unleashed a candid critique of his situation following the Reds’ dramatic 3–3 draw with Leeds United.

“I could not believe I was sitting on the bench for 90 minutes,” Salah told reporters. “That’s the third time. It’s the first time in my career, I think. I’m very disappointed. I’ve done so much for this club over the years, especially last season. It feels like the club has thrown me under the bus. That’s how I feel.

“Someone wants me to take all the blame. The club promised me a lot in the summer, but now I’m on the bench, so I can say those promises haven’t been kept.”

Salah has become a Liverpool legend over the past eight years, scoring 250 goals across all competitions and helping the club to two Premier League titles. Yet, despite an impressive 2024/25 campaign under Slot, the Egyptian forward suggested his relationship with the Dutch manager has deteriorated.

“I used to have a good relationship with the manager,” Salah said. “Now we don’t have any relationship, and I don’t know why. It feels like someone doesn’t want me at the club.”

The comments raise serious questions about Salah’s future at Anfield, with the star forward hinting that his time at Liverpool could be nearing an end.
