Enzo Fernandez was on the scoresheet for Chelsea during Wednesday’s 5-2 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, and reports suggest the French champions are keeping a close eye on the Argentine midfielder ahead of a possible summer move.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a consistently strong season for Chelsea, attracting attention as the campaign heads into its final stages. Spanish giants Real Madrid are also reportedly interested in the midfielder as a potential target for the upcoming transfer window, according to Flashscore.

French outlets now claim that PSG are monitoring Fernandez’s situation as well. While there is no certainty he will leave Chelsea, his impressive performance in Paris — scoring in the 57th minute and providing an assist for Malo Gusto — has only heightened interest from potential suitors.

Chelsea are reportedly determined to keep Fernandez, who has already netted 12 goals this season. Sources suggest that any transfer discussion would likely require a fee exceeding the £106.8million the Blues paid to Benfica in 2023.

Such a high valuation could make PSG think twice, but with Real Madrid also tracking the player, Chelsea may face a competitive challenge to retain their midfield star beyond this season.

For now, Fernandez remains fully focused on his role at Stamford Bridge, with six years still remaining on his current contract.
