Pisani and Bormla Subbuteo Club reach finals in Greece

Last weekend, the Larissa Grand Prix was held in Greece, with several Maltese players taking part in the international competition.
In the Open category, George Ebejer advanced to the semi-finals, where he was eliminated by eventual winner Giorgos Vlassopolous. Mark Gauci and Jean Tabone both reached the quarter-finals, while Josef Camilleri was knocked out in the group stage.
In the Veterans category, Jason Pisani progressed to the final but was defeated by Alberto Di Maggio. John Zammit’s campaign ended in the group phase.
In the team competition, Bormla Subbuteo Club topped their group with maximum points and continued their strong run to reach the final, where they were narrowly defeated by Scarlet Battalion SC. The Bormla team was made up of Josef Camilleri, George Ebejer, Jean Tabone and Jason Pisani.
