Mosta FC crowned BOV Youth Knock-Out Champions after 5-0 Victory over Swieqi United
Mosta FC claimed the BOV Youth Knock-Out title following an emphatic 5-0 victory against Swieqi United in the final at the National Stadium.
Swieqi United threatened early when Kian Leonardo narrowly missed the target after a solo run. Mosta FC capitalised on a defensive error in the 21st minute, with Russell Caruana heading in the opening goal. Emmanuel Prince doubled the lead two minutes later through a brilliant individual effort.
Mosta FC maintained momentum in the second half. Luca Chetcuti scored the third goal in the 54th minute, and Ryan Debono added a fourth in the 66th minute. Prince secured his second goal shortly after to finalize the 5-0 scoreline. Swieqi United created late chances, but Mosta goalkeeper Jayden Farrugia made critical saves against Mattia Dezzutto and Kojo Okle to preserve the clean sheet.
Following the match, Bank of Valletta CSR Manager Stefan Abela and Malta Football Association Vice President Maria Azzopardi presented the trophy to the Mosta FC team.
