Malta Under-21 national team coach Davide Mazzotta has announced a 25-man squad for the upcoming UEFA European U21 Championship qualifying matches against Germany and Latvia.

During this international window, Malta will first travel to Germany for their second away fixture of the campaign. The match against the European heavyweights will be played on Friday, 14 November 2025, at the Sportpark Ronhof Thomas Sommer Stadium in Fürth, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 hrs. The encounter will be broadcast live on TVMi.mt.

Following the trip to Germany, the Maltese side will return home to prepare for their next test against Latvia, to be played on Tuesday, 18 November 2025, at the Centenary Stadium, kicking off at 19:00 hrs. Tickets for this match will soon be available through the Malta FA tickets portal.

So far, the Malta U21 side has faced three tough fixtures in their qualifying campaign, using each match as a building block for development. The upcoming encounters present another valuable opportunity for Mazzotta’s young squad to demonstrate their progress, determination, and tactical growth against formidable opposition.

Under the guidance of Mazzotta and his coaching staff, the players will look to deliver strong performances, continue their development, and strengthen team cohesion as they aim to make their mark in the qualification journey.
