Man Utd striker Benjamin Šeško set to miss three weeks with knee injury – Reports

Manchester United have been handed a significant injury boost, with striker Benjamin Šeško now expected to return to action in December after initial fears he could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The £77 million summer signing was forced off during the 2-2 draw with Tottenham, sparking concern after early reports during the November international break suggested the Slovenian forward could miss up to eight matches.
Head coach Rúben Amorim admitted after the match that he was unsure about the severity of the injury, which only heightened worry among supporters fearing the 21-year-old could be ruled out for months.
However, transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has since delivered a positive update, confirming that Šeško’s knee issue is not as serious as first feared and that the striker is on course to return before the end of the year—a major relief for United as they prepare for a busy winter period.
Šeško withdrew from international duty with Slovenia to begin his rehabilitation at Carrington, where United’s medical team will manage his recovery closely. The forward has scored two goals in 11 Premier League appearances so far, as he continues to adapt to life in England.
Amorim is expected to provide a further update in his press conference ahead of Monday’s Premier League clash with Everton at Old Trafford, as focus shifts back to domestic competition.
If his rehab continues on schedule, Šeško could be back in contention as early as December 15, when United host Bournemouth—although the final decision will rest with Amorim and the club’s medical staff.
The Red Devils will hope the young striker can hit form over the second half of the season as they push to climb the Premier League table and compete in Europe.
