Maltese table football players delivered a series of strong performances during the second round of the Italian Table Football Championship held last weekend.

Serie A: SS Lazio Secures Top-Tier Standing

In one of the most competitive Serie A editions in recent years, SS Lazio secured a commendable 7th place finish. Three Maltese athletes were instrumental to the team’s success:

• Patrick Pace (Captain)
• Jamie Bonnici
• Joseph Borg Bonaci

Serie B: Impressive Debut for Reggio Calabria

In Serie B, newly promoted Reggio Calabria, featuring Maltese player 

Spencer Conti, also claimed 7th place. The team enjoyed a highly positive season, finishing just a few points adrift of the promotion spots.

Serie C: Palermo Narrowly Misses Promotion

Young talent 

Jayden Bonnici helped Palermo secure 5th place in Serie C. Like Reggio Calabria, the team ended their campaign only a few points away from a promotion-earning position.
