The Malta National Team is gearing up for a decisive—and potentially historic—March international window, with a pivotal UEFA Nations League Play-Off against Luxembourg on the agenda.

Under the guidance of coach Emilio De Leo, Malta will contest a two-legged play-off against Luxembourg with promotion to League C at stake, a landmark achievement the national side has never reached before.

The first leg will be played at the National Stadium, Ta’ Qali, on Thursday 26 March 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00. The early evening start offers an ideal opportunity for Maltese supporters to turn out in force and get behind the team.

The return leg will take place on Tuesday 31 March 2026 at the Stade de Luxembourg, also with a kick-off at 18:00.
