Malta FA marks historic 125th Anniversary with ‘Stronger as One’ music video collaboration

The Malta Football Association (Malta FA) has launched a new music video in collaboration with Musea Orchestra to commemorate the association’s historic 125th anniversary.
Musea Orchestra is a full-service provider within the music sector, drawing on deep expertise and refined craftsmanship to deliver meticulous and personalised music solutions. The orchestra supports creators and institutions across various sectors through high quality musical production and artistic collaboration.
The collaboration between the Malta FA and Musea Orchestra began earlier this month with a dedicated social media campaign promoting the music video, titled Stronger as One. The video features an orchestrated rendition of Hall of Fame, the iconic motivational song originally released by Irish pop rock band The Script. The orchestral adaptation enhances the song’s emotional impact, echoing the determination, resilience, and perseverance that define both football and the pursuit of excellence.

The video powerfully illustrates how football and music two disciplines from seemingly different worlds are united through shared values such as dedication, passion, teamwork, and a constant drive for improvement.

Filmed at the National Stadium, the video showcases Musea Orchestra’s 30-piece ensemble performing on the pitch, filling the stadium with vibrant orchestral sound. Alongside them, a team of Malta National Team all-stars takes part in a one-time, commemorative performance that symbolises national pride and unity.

Commenting on the collaboration, Malta FA President Bjorn Vassallo said:
“This collaboration, on the Malta FA’s 125th anniversary, highlights the brilliance and creativity of the Maestro through the orchestra, as well as the talent we have within our national teams, which represent our country and the whole nation.”
He added:
“The synergy and enthusiasm of the orchestra, together with the pride of our national teams, lead to the delight of the Maltese population. It is therefore a great satisfaction for us to have collaborated with Musea Orchestra on this project.”
Musea Orchestra Conductor and Orchestrator Maestro Matthew Bugeja also expressed his appreciation for the initiative:
“It is a genuine honour to collaborate with Malta’s national football teams on a project that highlights the shared values of excellence that bind sport and music.”
He continued:
“In both fields, success is built on discipline, teamwork, and a deep respect for the craft and for each other. Conducting Musea Orchestra on the National Stadium’s turf, alongside the national teams, meant fulfilling a dream.”
Maestro Bugeja concluded by commending the Malta FA’s leadership:
“I commend the Malta Football Association for its forward-thinking approach and for recognising the impact of bringing artistic expression and national sport into a unified narrative. Our orchestra is honoured to contribute to such an innovative and nationally significant initiative that celebrates universal values.”
