Two matches were played on Saturday 13 December 2025 as Matchday 6 of the GFA BOV Gozo Football League Second Division continued at the Kercem Stadium, producing plenty of drama at both ends of the table.

Gharb Rangers turn the tide against Oratory Youths

Gharb Rangers FC registered an important 4–2 victory over Oratory Youths FC in an entertaining encounter that swung back and forth throughout the match.

Oratory made a dream start, taking the lead after just three minutes through Arruda Aroldo Da Silva (Aroldinho). However, Gharb reacted swiftly, with Anthony Sultana restoring parity in the 8th minute. The Rangers then edged ahead midway through the first half when Luke Sultana struck on 24 minutes.

Oratory refused to go away and were rewarded just before the half-hour mark as Aroldinho grabbed his second of the match on 29 minutes, making it 2–2 at the break.

The decisive moments came late in the second half. With the match finely poised, Gean Dias Nascimento De Freitas put Gharb back in front on 77 minutes, before Kenny Hili sealed the win deep into stoppage time (90+5’), ensuring all three points for the Rangers.

The victory keeps Gharb Rangers firmly at the top of the standings.

Goalless stalemate between Żebbuġ and Sannat

Earlier in the day, Żebbuġ Rovers FC and Sannat Lions FC played out a 0–0 draw in a tightly contested affair.

Both sides struggled to break each other down in a match that was rich in effort but low on clear-cut chances. The point gained keeps Sannat in second place, while Żebbuġ remain in mid-table.
