Kalkara United open up ten-point lead in Amateur League II Title Race

Kalkara United reinforced their position at the summit of the BOV Amateur League II, extending their lead to a commanding ten points with a dominant 4–0 victory over Marsaskala at the Charles Abela Stadium. A second-half flurry of goals sealed the win, with Miguel Perez netting a brace (37′, 63′) and Jean Claude Annati adding two more in quick succession (58′, 61′).
The victory was timely, as Msida St. Joseph moved into second place after defeating Siggiewi 4–0 at the Sirens Stadium. After a goalless first half, Msida found their stride late in the game with goals from Thomas Grima (57′), Kurt Zammit (84′), Taiwo David Akindele (87′), and Jayden Borg (90′).

- Dingli Swallows secured a comfortable 3–0 win against Sta. Venera Lightnings. Ronaldinho Nathaniel Daley scored a brace (23′, 47′ pen) and Mark Cutajar added the third (63′).
- Mdina Knights edged out Rabat Ajax 3–2 in a thrilling encounter, with Giovanni Galea scoring a hat-trick for the Knights (2′, 20′, 43′ pen). Rabat mounted a late comeback effort with goals from Jamie Camilleri (49′) and Victor Ifeanyi Mbata (88′), but it was not enough.
- Ta’ Xbiex came back from a goal down to rout Ghaxaq 5–1. After Ghaxaq took an early lead, Ta’ Xbiex leveled quickly and pulled away in the second half with goals from Jake Milwyn Davies, Andre Joe Cutajar (pen), Kane Micallef, and a brace from Bledi Alla.
At the Sirens Stadium on Saturday, St. George’s and Gharghur shared the spoils in an entertaining 2-2 draw. Ryan Dalli put the Saints ahead early on (6′), but Gharghur took the lead with goals from Aaron Alfredo Doda (56′) and Daniel Quintano (59′), before Kurt Zahra leveled matters for St. George’s.
League Standings:
Kalkara United lead the pack with 27 points. Dingli follows in second place with 17 points, closely pursued by Msida, Ta’ Xbiex, and Siggiewi, all tied at 15 points.
