Juventus Confident of Retaining Kenan Yildiz Amid Premier League Interest

Kenan Yildiz has quickly become one of the most talked-about young talents in world football, and Juventus remain confident they can keep hold of him despite rising interest from across Europe.
The 20-year-old Turkey international has enjoyed a standout season in Serie A, establishing himself as a regular starter and one of Juve’s most dynamic attacking threats. But his rapid rise has also created uncertainty around his future, with contract negotiations in Turin still unresolved.
Contract talks dragging on
Yildiz’s current deal is widely considered outdated, reportedly worth around €1.5 million per year—well below the market value for a player of his calibre. He is seeking new terms that reflect his status, with internal comparisons made to Jonathan David, who earns roughly four times as much.
So far, Juventus have struggled to put forward an offer that satisfies all parties, but sources close to the situation insist discussions are far from dead.
Changes behind the scenes
The slowdown in negotiations is partly due to ongoing structural adjustments at the club. Newly appointed head coach Luciano Spalletti is settling in, and Juventus are still finalising the arrival of a new sporting director. Once the hierarchy is fully in place, securing Yildiz to a long-term deal—likely running to 2030—is expected to become a top priority.
Premier League interest building
The uncertainty has drawn the attention of several Premier League giants. Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal are all closely monitoring developments, waiting to see whether Juventus leave an opening for a move.
For now, though, they remain on standby.
Juve still optimistic
Despite the external pressure, Juventus remain hopeful of reaching an agreement. Those familiar with the situation suggest Yildiz is happy in Turin and open to staying—provided the club can meet both his financial expectations and his sporting ambitions.
