Joseph Tabone and Roderick Abela book place in boċċi individual competition final
Joseph Tabone and Roderick Abela have advanced to the final of the individual boċċi competition after winning their respective semifinals.
Reigning champion Joseph Tabone bounced back after losing his first match against Andre Caruana, securing a 21-17 victory to force a decider played to 11 points. Drawing on his experience and determination, Tabone edged out his opponent 11-10 to book his place in the final.
In the other semifinal, which was also closely contested, Roderick Abela needed a decider to overcome Owen Bezzina. After winning the first match 21-14, Abela sealed qualification with an 11-4 win in the final game.
The final between Joseph Tabone and Roderick Abela will be played on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Ħal Għaxaq pitch.
