Jodi Jones on target as Notts County thrash Tranmere 5–0 to go Third

Jodi Jones was on the scoresheet as Notts County F.C. produced a dominant display to hammer Tranmere Rovers F.C. 5–0 at home.
The Maltese international capped off an impressive team performance by netting County’s fourth goal in the 57th minute, putting the result beyond doubt and delighting the home supporters at Meadow Lane.

Jones’ moment came shortly after the interval. Latching onto a well-worked move, the Maltese winger finished confidently to make it 4–0 and effectively seal the contest. It was another important contribution in what has been a strong campaign for the Malta international.
The comprehensive victory lifts Notts County up to third place in the table, level on points with Swindon Town F.C.. Crucially, however, County have a game in hand — a factor that could prove decisive as the promotion race intensifies.
With momentum firmly on their side and performances matching their ambition, Notts County will be looking to build on this emphatic win as they push for a return to the upper tiers of English football.
