Juventus have confirmed the dismissal of head coach Igor Tudor following a poor run of results that has seen the team go eight matches without a win in all competitions.

In an official statement released on Monday, the club announced that Massimo Brambilla will take charge of the first team on an interim basis for Wednesday’s Serie A fixture against Udinese.

“Juventus FC announces that it has today relieved Igor Tudor of his duties as head coach of the Men’s First Team, along with his staff consisting of Ivan Javorcic, Tomislav Rogic, and Riccardo Ragnacci,” the club said.

“The Club also announces that it has temporarily entrusted the Men’s First Team to Massimo Brambilla, who will be on the bench for the Juventus–Udinese match on Wednesday evening.

“The Club thanks Igor Tudor and his entire staff for their professionalism and dedication over the past few months and wishes them all the best for their future careers.”

Pressure Mounts After Winless Streak

Juventus’ last victory came on September 13, and the team has since gone eight matches without a win — a run that included three consecutive defeats to Como (2–0), Real Madrid (1–0), and Lazio (1–0). The latest loss in Rome proved to be the final straw for the former Croatian international.

The slump has left the Bianconeri struggling both domestically and in Europe. In Serie A, they currently sit eighth, five points behind early leaders Napoli and Roma. Their Champions League campaign has also faltered, with Juventus outside the qualification places, sitting 25th overall with just two points from their group matches.

What Comes Next

Brambilla will oversee the team for a busy week, with Juventus set to host Udinese on Wednesday before travelling to Cremonese on Saturday. In just over a week, they face Sporting CP at home in a crucial Champions League fixture.

Meanwhile, Italian media reports suggest that Luciano Spalletti and Raffaele Palladino are among the leading candidates being considered to take over on a permanent basis.

Tudor departs after a short and turbulent spell in charge, with Juventus now facing the challenge of salvaging their season under new leadership.
