Hibernians forward Ayomide Ajiboye was voted the BOV Basketball Player of the Month for October 2025. Luxol’s Olivia Wikstrom won the award for the Women’s League with Depiro’s Alessio Trapani rounding up the individual awards winning top accolade for the BOV Men’s Amateur League.

Standing at 6’5”, Ajiboye from Chicago powered Hibernians into the John Tabone Shield final with a string of dominant performances. His standout display came in the semi-final against Luxol, where he scored 24 points and shot a perfect 100% from the field. Ajiboye led the league in shooting efficiency during October, posting an impressive 73% field goal percentage while amassing a total of 67 points for the month.

Luxol’s American import, Olivia Wikstrom, made her mark as a dynamic guard from Washington. She averaged 32 points per game for a total of 96 points, while playing an impressive 37.16 minutes per contest. Her game-high 38-point explosion against Athleta, followed by a dominant 31-point performance against Depiro adding to her impressive 14.67 rebounds per game, gave her the decisive edge in clinching this award.

Depiro Hoops’ 5’11” guard Alessio Trapani delivered a strong October, averaging 20 points per game while spending an impressive 34.5 minutes on the court. Shooting at a remarkable 61% from the field, Trapani emerged as his team’s top scorer, highlighted by a 25-point performance against Valletta Tamaraws and a solid 16-point contribution against Luxol.
