GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks remain firmly in contention after registering a dominant 10-0 victory over White Hart in a National Hockey Championship encounter.

Żurrieq had already established a 4-0 lead by the end of the second quarter and continued to control proceedings, adding six more goals to complete an emphatic win. Christ Agius was the standout performer with five goals, while Alessandro Amore contributed a hat-trick. Xylon Cassar and Stefano Schembri also found the net. The match was officiated by Karl Chircop and John Williams.

Meanwhile, Marsaskala Heat secured the Under-18 league title following a 2-1 win over Qormi Daikin. Xylon Cassar and Kyron Carabott scored for the Skalin side, while Giorgio Muscat netted Qormi’s only goal. The umpires for the match were James Mizzi and Karl Chircop.

Marsaskala Heat also enjoyed success at Under-12 level, defeating Floriana Young Stars 2-0. The goals were scored by Danzel Gerada and Jan Agius. Oscar Toledano and Shane Lovett officiated the encounter.
