Għaxaq Boċċi Club have been crowned First Division champions in the league organised by the Federazzjoni Klabbs tal-Boċċi, after securing a 21–12 victory over St Peter’s Żabbar in a thrilling final.

The match delivered a captivating contest, with both teams showcasing impressive skill and determination. Għaxaq made a flying start, racing to a commanding 10–1 lead, before St Peter’s mounted a spirited comeback to turn the tables and move 11–10 ahead.

However, Għaxaq displayed great composure and accuracy in the decisive moments, regaining control through precise throws and excellent placement near the jack. Their strong finish ultimately sealed the win and the championship title.

Following the final, Federazzjoni Klabbs tal-Boċċi president CJ Saliba presented the First Division trophy to Għaxaq captain Noel Axiaq.

Għaxaq were represented by Noel Axiaq, Damien Grima, Michael Buhagiar, Emmanuel Spiteri, Charles Calafato, and Matthew Mizzi.
St Peter’s Żabbar fielded Conrad Borg, Owen Bezzina, Mario Galea, Leli Brignoli, Cameron Massa, and Randolf Randic.
