Għaxaq Boċċi Club and St Peter’s Żabbar will go head-to-head in the Final of the First Division Championship Pool after both teams secured their places in style.

In the semifinal played at the Ħal Lija pitch, Għaxaq overcame Buġibba Boċċi Club with a commanding 21–13 victory, in a match that lasted over three and a half hours. The tightly contested game showcased impressive technical play and composure from the Għaxaq side, who ultimately pulled away in the latter stages to book their spot in the final.

St Peter’s Żabbar, on the other hand, had already guaranteed their place in the final after finishing top of the standings at the end of the Championship Pool phase.

The eagerly awaited final is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Birkirkara pitch, where both sides will compete for the coveted First Division title.

Meanwhile, the finalists for the Under-18 Championship have also been confirmed, with Għaxaq and Żebbuġ set to battle for the trophy. That final will be played on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Marsamxett pitch.
