Ghajnsielem FC strengthened their grip on second place with a hard-fought 2-1 comeback victory over SK Victoria Wanderers. The match, officiated by Patrick Falzon, saw the Wanderers take a surprising lead in the 34th minute through Mustapha Lawal Amodu.

However, the “Blacks” responded just before the halftime whistle when Jhon Alejandro Gonzalez Castillo found the equalizer. The match was nearly defined by a missed opportunity in the 33rd minute when Xewkija’s Brian Alejandro Parada sent a penalty kick high over the bar.
