Fulham have secured the permanent signing of Norway winger Oscar Bobb from Manchester City for a reported £27 million ($37 million).

The 22-year-old has joined Marco Silva’s squad on a five-and-a-half-year deal, reportedly including a 20 percent sell-on clause.

Bobb, a product of City’s youth academy, had fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad following the arrival of Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth earlier this month.

“It feels great to be here. I had a great day meeting everyone, and I am very excited,” Bobb told FFCtv. “I have always known Fulham to be a good club, with good players and a great stadium.”

Before making the move to Craven Cottage, Bobb sought advice from Norway teammate Sander Berge.

“I spoke to Sander, my good friend, and I spoke to the manager, who explained the system, the players, and the club,” Bobb said. “He (Silva) seemed lovely, so it was an easy decision basically.”

Fulham, who are currently seventh in the Premier League, travel to face Manchester United on Sunday.
