Zebbug Rovers 5–1 Munxar Falcons

Zebbug Rovers delivered their most convincing performance of the season as they swept aside Munxar Falcons with a resounding 5–1 victory, driven by an extraordinary four-goal display from Haraan Hajazan Goncalves Barbosa.

The Rovers took the lead on 27 minutes when Barbosa broke the deadlock with a composed finish. Munxar responded quickly, equalising through Geordie Debono on 33 minutes to send the match into halftime evenly poised.

The second half belonged entirely to Zebbug. Barbosa struck again seven minutes after the restart, restoring the lead with a clinical effort. Just three minutes later, Bernard Camilleri extended the advantage to 3–1, giving the Rovers complete control.

From there, Barbosa put on a show. He completed his hat-trick in the 69th minute and added a fourth goal 10 minutes from time, sealing an emphatic victory and placing Zebbug firmly among the division’s most dangerous attacking sides.

Gharb Rangers 2–2 St Lawrence Spurs

The second match of the day delivered late drama, as Gharb Rangers battled back from two goals down to earn a hard-fought 2–2 draw against St Lawrence Spurs.

St Lawrence struck early through Gabriel Debrincat, who fired his side into an 11th-minute lead. On the stroke of halftime, Felipe Augusto De Oliviera doubled the advantage, giving the Spurs a comfortable 2–0 cushion.

Gharb emerged stronger after the interval and halved the deficit in the 68th minute thanks to Damian Depasquale, swinging the momentum in their favour. The Rangers pushed relentlessly in the closing stages, and their efforts were rewarded in dramatic fashion deep into stoppage time.

In the 90+2nd minute, Wesley Mateus Leal Barnaske struck a crucial equaliser, salvaging a valuable point and sparking celebrations among the Gharb support.
