Crystal Palace are reportedly looking to LaLiga as they consider potential successors to current manager Oliver Glasner.

With the Austrian’s contract at Selhurst Park approaching its expiry, the Eagles have begun exploring replacement options, with Spain’s top flight emerging as a key area of interest.

Getafe head coach José Bordalás is among the names under discussion. The experienced Spaniard is currently in his second spell with Getafe, though his contract is set to expire at the end of the season, which could make him an attainable option.

Also on Palace’s radar is Rayo Vallecano boss Iñigo Pérez. The 36-year-old stepped into the role following Andoni Iraola’s departure to Bournemouth last summer and has since drawn plaudits for his work in Madrid.

Iraola had been keen to take his former Rayo assistant with him to the Premier League, but the move was blocked due to work permit issues. Rayo instead promoted Pérez to head coach, a decision that has been rewarded by a series of impressive performances under his leadership.

As Palace assess their next steps, LaLiga appears to be providing a strong pool of managerial candidates.
