Courtois to Miss Belgium’s World Cup Qualifiers Against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein

Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois faces uncertainty for the national team’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein after sustaining a leg injury while playing for Real Madrid, the Spanish club confirmed on Monday.
The 33-year-old keeper suffered an adductor injury during Madrid’s goalless La Liga draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday. While the club did not provide an exact timeline for his return, Spanish media reports suggest he could be sidelined for 10 to 12 days, potentially making him available for Madrid’s league match against Elche on November 23.
Belgium are on the brink of qualifying for next year’s World Cup, needing a win in Kazakhstan on Saturday to secure their spot. They will conclude their Group J campaign three days later with a home match against Liechtenstein.
