Juventus climbed into Serie A’s top four after Gleison Bremer’s brace inspired a commanding 4-1 victory over Parma, extending their dominance in the fixture to just one defeat in the last ten meetings (W7, D2).

Arriving in Parma on the back of three consecutive clean sheets across UEFA Champions League and league action (W2, D1), the Bianconeri began confidently and asserted their authority early on.

The visitors nearly made the breakthrough inside six minutes when Francisco Conceição rattled the crossbar from close range, and that early warning soon proved significant. Juventus opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Conceição’s outswinging corner was met by Bremer, whose powerful header found the bottom corner for his second goal of the season.

Eager to build on their advantage, Juventus pressed forward in search of a second. However, Parma threatened an equaliser against the run of play, with Gaetano Oristanio heading narrowly wide from 12 yards.

That missed opportunity proved costly, as Juventus doubled their lead in the 37th minute. Pierre Kalulu’s cross was met by Weston McKennie, who produced an acrobatic volley to give Luciano Spalletti’s side a comfortable two-goal cushion at half-time.

Parma showed renewed intent after the break and reduced the deficit six minutes into the second half. A low cross into the box was inadvertently turned into his own net by Andrea Cambiaso, giving the hosts fresh hope.

Juventus responded emphatically. Bremer restored the two-goal advantage moments later, tapping in from close range after McKennie’s header had rebounded off the crossbar.

The visitors put the result beyond doubt in the 64th minute when Jonathan David continued his fine scoring form, pouncing on a loose ball in the six-yard area to slot into an empty net.

With the contest effectively decided, Juventus almost added a fifth late on, only for substitute Lois Openda’s well-taken finish to be ruled out for offside.

Nevertheless, it was an impressive evening for Spalletti’s men, who recorded their seventh Serie A win in nine matches. The victory saw Juventus move ahead of Roma and into fourth place, further strengthening their push for Champions League qualification.
