Bournemouth agree deal to sign midfielder Toth from Ferencváros

Bournemouth have reached an agreement in principle to sign Ferencváros midfielder Alex Toth in a deal worth £10.4 million, with a further £2.6 million included in potential add-ons for the Hungarian club.
The 20-year-old defensive midfielder is expected to travel to the south coast in the coming days to undergo a medical and finalise personal terms.
Toth has spent his entire club career in Hungary, including a loan spell with Soroksár during the 2023–24 season. He made his senior debut for Ferencváros in December 2024 and has since featured 25 times across all competitions.
The youngster has also earned nine caps for the Hungarian national team, underlining his rapid rise at both club and international level.
If completed, Toth would become Bournemouth’s third signing of the January transfer window, following the arrivals of goalkeeper Fraser Forster and defender Ade Solanke, as the club continues to strengthen its squad.
