Thursday 7th May: Borg Dominates
In the first of the two matchups, Alex Borg faced Arthur Cachia. Borg maintained control throughout the session, finishing with a comfortable 5-1 victory. The result sees the veteran campaigner move one step closer to the title.
Friday 8th May: Peplow Advances with Century Break
The following evening, Chris Peplow went head-to-head with Isaac Borg. While the match remained competitive, Peplow eventually pulled away to secure a 5-2 win.
The highlight of the evening—and the tournament so far—was a clinical 127 break by Peplow, the highest of the match and a clear indicator of his current form heading into the semi-finals.
