Bissouma faces disciplinary action over second nitrous oxide allegation at Tottenham

Tottenham midfielder Yves Bissouma is facing disciplinary action after allegedly being filmed inhaling nitrous oxide for a second time.
Footage obtained by The Sun reportedly shows the 29-year-old Malian inhaling the gas from a balloon at a party in November.
A Tottenham spokesperson said: “We are looking into the events and it will be dealt with as an internal matter.”
Nitrous oxide was classified as a Class C drug in 2023 under the UK government’s anti-social behaviour plan, making recreational possession an offence.
This marks the second time Bissouma has been linked to nitrous oxide misuse, following a similar incident in August 2024. At that time, he apologised for a “severe lack of judgement” and received a one-game suspension.
Bissouma is currently sidelined after ankle surgery and has yet to feature under manager Thomas Frank, having been excluded from the squad. He was also omitted from Tottenham’s UEFA Super Cup squad in August due to persistent lateness during pre-season.
His last appearance came on May 25 against former club Brighton, just days after starting in Tottenham’s Europa League final victory over Manchester United.
