Birkirkara FC have officially completed the signing of Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah, adding a powerful new presence to their attacking line.
A dynamic centre-forward, Asumah is renowned for his pace, strength, and intelligent movement in the box. His ability to hold up play and finish clinically with either foot will provide the Stripes with a fresh attacking option, particularly in light of Franklin Sasere’s long-term injury.
Holding a Portuguese passport, Asumah brings a wealth of international experience, having featured in top leagues in the Netherlands and Switzerland before continuing his career in Australia’s A-League with Brisbane Roar. His background across European and overseas competitions perfectly matches the profile the club has been seeking in recent weeks.
