Bayern Munich in contract talks with Harry Kane

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has confirmed that the club is in discussions with Harry Kane over a new contract.
Speaking on Monday at a Bundesliga event in Frankfurt, Eberl said talks are already underway with the England striker, whose current deal runs until 2027.
“We’re talking to Harry, we’re talking,” Eberl said. “Everyone knows that at some point a decision has to be made.”
Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen also played down any urgency over negotiations, insisting there is no pressure to rush an agreement.
“Harry has great confidence in us, and he feels comfortable in Munich,” Dreesen said. “He and his family are settled here, so there’s absolutely no reason to hurry.”
Kane joined Bayern in 2023 and ended his long wait for major silverware in 2025, when the club lifted the Bundesliga title. This season, Bayern are in dominant form, sitting eight points clear at the top of the league and second in the Champions League’s 36-team table.
The 32-year-old has been in outstanding form since arriving in Germany. He has scored 119 goals in 126 appearances for Bayern and has also contributed 30 assists.
Earlier in October, Kane said he could “definitely imagine” extending his stay in Germany, further fueling speculation about a long-term future at the club.
This season alone, Kane has scored 34 goals in 30 matches. With 21 goals in 19 Bundesliga games, he is on course to break the league’s single-season scoring record of 41 goals, set by Robert Lewandowski in the 2020/21 campaign.
