Balzan have climbed to the top of the BOV Challenge League standings after securing a 2-0 victory over St. Andrews at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. Forward Oluwatobiloba Dimeji Awosanya was the hero of the match, scoring both goals in the 53rd and 87th minutes.

• Birzebbuga St. Peter’s missed out on crucial points after being held to a 1-1 draw by Vittoriosa Stars at the Centenary Stadium. Paul Lapira’s 23rd-minute goal for Birzebbuga was canceled out by a late own goal deep in stoppage time.
• Melita delivered a commanding 4-1 win against Zebbug Rangers at the Victor Tedesco Stadium. Goals from Eric Mensah, Karl Mohnani, Jesus Yepez, and Benjamin Cassar secured the comfortable victory.
• Gudja United edged out Sirens with a narrow win at the Centenary Stadium, thanks to a decisive goal from Cesar Paiber just two minutes before full time.
