Caffe Moak Luxol 84–50 Athleta
Caffe Moak Luxol maintained their perfect start to the season, securing a second consecutive victory with an impressive all-round performance.
Young standout Vanya Baldacchino stole the show, producing a superb 29-point, 10-rebound double-double to guide her team to a dominant win.
Athleta faced an early setback after Izabelle Booth exited due to injury, yet they continued to battle bravely. Several players stepped up to keep the scoreline respectable, showing determination and positive contributions throughout the matchup.
Hibernians 58–49 Starlites Revive
In a tightly contested clash, Hibernians edged out Starlites Revive despite a spirited final-quarter surge from the Naxxar side.
Hibernians were led by Macleod’s 17 points and a strong 11-point, 11-rebound double-double from Diaby, proving decisive in securing the win.
Starlites found their rhythm late in the game, with the Riolo sisters, Philippa (14 points) and Mikela (13 points), spearheading the comeback attempt.
Betsson Depiro 68–41 Valletta Dream
Earlier on Sunday, Betsson Depiro turned on the style with a commanding 27-point victory over Valletta Dream, pulling away thanks to a dominant fourth-quarter performance.
Depiro were powered by two double-double efforts:
- Lovely Sonnier – 18 points, 10 rebounds
- Sophie Abela – 12 points, 10 rebounds
For Valletta Dream, Olesia Malashenko stood out with a remarkable double-double, posting 15 points and 23 rebounds, keeping her side competitive despite the defeat.
