Atalanta have parted ways with head coach Ivan Juric following their home defeat to Sassuolo, the Serie A club confirmed. Raffaele Palladino has emerged as the leading candidate to take charge.

Juric met with Atalanta’s management earlier this week to discuss the team’s recent struggles after suffering two consecutive league defeats. Following those talks, the club decided to terminate the contracts of Juric and his coaching staff — Matteo Paro, Miguel Veloso, Paolo Barbero, Stjepan Ostojic, and Michele Orecchio.

The decision marks a significant shift in the club’s technical direction, as Atalanta seek to regain form and stability after a disappointing run of results.

Former Monza boss Raffaele Palladino is currently the frontrunner to replace Juric, with an official announcement on the new head coach expected in the coming hours, during the international break.
