Aston Villa and Manchester United are both exploring a move to sign Real Madrid starlet Endrick on loan in January, according to reports.

The Daily Star claims that United have been closely monitoring the young Brazilian’s situation and are open to bringing him in for the second half of the season. However, they could face stiff competition from Aston Villa, whose coaching staff’s La Liga experience may give them an advantage in negotiations.

Endrick, who officially joined Real Madrid earlier this year amid huge fanfare, has struggled for game time under Xabi Alonso, featuring for just 12 minutes in competitive action so far this season.

With frustration growing over his lack of opportunities, the 18-year-old is believed to be considering a midseason move to secure regular playing time. Real Madrid are reportedly open to a loan deal, though Endrick could consider a permanent exit if the right opportunity arises.
