AC Milan’s Pulisic sidelined for at least two weeks with hamstring injury

The American forward was forced off before the 30-minute mark on Tuesday after a challenge from defender Jason Geria, who clipped his heel from behind. Pulisic returned to Italy the following day for further evaluation.
AC Milan confirmed that an MRI scan revealed a hamstring injury, and the player will be re-assessed in around 10 days. As a result, Pulisic is set to miss Milan’s upcoming home fixture against Fiorentina on Sunday.
The setback comes roughly eight months before the start of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Pulisic is expected to be one of the tournament’s biggest stars for the home fans.
Before the injury, he had been in excellent form, sitting joint top of the Serie A scoring charts with Bologna’s Riccardo Orsolini, both having netted four goals.
